Photobook: Hyper-Digitized Images

I made a fascinating discovery after updating to a fancy new flip phone back in 2005 — the photos it took made everything look like you were 100% peaking on acid!

I don’t know how or why the camera in that phone achieved this effect, but it was electrifying. Everything came though some kind of weird alien filter, and the edges were blurred for some reason. Whether it was accidental or not, I took as many pictures as I could with that thing. These are some highlights from that strange journey.

An amusing aside: The only way to get the images off of the phone was to email them to yourself at the exasperatingly ridiculous rate of 25 cents a pop. Why so low? And why not zero? So strange.
