“You haven’t been antiquing, not really,” my mother told me recently, “until you’ve been to Anthony Scornavacco’s in St. Paul.” I had no earthly idea what she meant.

All that changed on Saturday.

“We have to go on a Saturday,” she said. “They’re only open like three days a week, and so we should go there some sunny Saturday.” Which is exactly what we did this last weekend, and it was indeed on a sunny day. And she was right—I had never been antiquing before, not really.
