Music Alert: Orbr – The Horn of Babylon (feat Ragga Twins)

I’m absolutely over the moon to announce that my new single The Horn of Babylon (feat Ragga Twins) drops today!

I was fortunate enough to team up with the legendary Ragga Twins for this epic sci-fi jungle adventure. Furious breaks, growling mids, and space-age FX give way to an old-school breakdown that pays homage to the past while keeping an eye on the future.

The Horn of Babylon (feat Ragga Twins) is available everywhere fine music is sold. You can also hear it on Orbr’s Bandcamp, YouTube, and SoundCloud channels, and of course you can stream or download any Orbr song at orbrsounds.com.

Enjoy!

Introducing The Seven Whores of the Apocalypse

Late this year I started a new darkwave band called The Seven Whores of the Apocalypse with local industrial legends Divider Line and The Creeping Man.

The inspiration for this band includes music from the 80s and 90s by bands such as Clock DVA, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, and Cabaret Voltaire.

Our debut single Parasite drops early next year. Check out our SoundCloud page here. (Bandcamp page coming soon…)

Stay tuned!

Music Alert: Orbr – Time Hackers

Orbr’s new single Time Hackers is out today!

Ditching class to hit the arcade and tag some alleys never sounded better. A wall of vintage drum machines, analog synths, and 8-bit arcade FX come at you with a vengeance in this instant synthwave jungle classic. New high score!

Time Hackers is available everywhere fine music is sold. You can also hear it on Orbr’s Bandcamp, YouTube, and SoundCloud channels, and of course you can stream or download any Orbr song at orbrsounds.com.

Enjoy!

Music Alert: Distress Call / Beaches of Cantarthys

Orbr’s new double single is out today! Check out the riveting sci-fi horror of Distress Call / Beaches of Cantarthys.

Distress Call sounds the red alert on a distant spaceship, warning the crew of impending encounters with sprawling FM baselines, subzero atmospherics, and a twitchy drum kit.

Beaches of Cantarthys is a tense and dramatic away mission to a land of 909s, manic arpeggiators, and vintage analog creatures both big and small.

Distress Call / Beaches of Cantarthys is available everywhere fine music is sold. You can also hear it on Orbr’s Bandcamp, YouTube, and SoundCloud channels, and of course you can stream or download any Orbr song at orbrsounds.com.

Enjoy!

Music Alert: Orbr – Arcade Racer

My intrepid drum & bass avatar Orbr is at it again! This time tearing up the circuits with the bonkers new single Arcade Racer.

Arcade Racer is a frenzied dive into 80s video game madness, sporting a razor-sharp DX7 bassline, fizzling acid bubbles, crystal clear breaks, and plenty of 8-bit sound FX.

Arcade Racer is available everywhere fine music is sold. You can also hear it on Orbr’s Bandcamp, YouTube, and SoundCloud channels. And of course you can stream or download any Orbr song at orbrsounds.com.

New high score!

Music Alert: Bewitch

Check out Bewitch, the first single from my 2020 album Copse.

The Black Anise Mix of Bewitch doesn’t play any fucking games: pounding polyrhythms, screeching distortion, and reverse FX come at you from all directions at once in this 20-minute journey into horror.

You can stream Bewitch at my Bandcamp and SoundCloud pages.

Happy Spooktober! 👻
