
Maybe it’s the time of year. Something about the icy air makes me crave cold, funky, robotic drum and bass. This winter is no exception.
Last week the temperatures dropped well below zero, and before I knew it I had dropped like thirty bucks on some of the coldest d&b tracks around. I mixed them all together, and now I make it available for you.
The robotic vocals sprinkled throughout the mix are generated with a program called Speak To Me. I also used audio from the classic arcade games Galaga, Space Invaders, Q*Bert, and Defender.
