Here comes the perfect combination of evil robots and smokin’ dub music for the fourth installment of my Class of ’93 mixtape series. Pulling audio from sci-fi thrillers, spaced-out ambient, and pitched-down techno from back in the day, Robot Dub Killer drops beats so heavy your squinty bloodshot eyes will roll right out of your head.

This was my first solo release after leaving the Cosmic Flux Music label in 2004. It was 100% built as a demo for Naked Music Records, which unfortunately had just turned away from soulful house and was not interested.
On the positive side, it marked the pinnacle of my powers as an EDM artist. Other than a small handful of other tracks, this was the best I ever got at dance music. Two years later all my gear got ripped off and I made the switch to dark ambient, and I had to start all over at the bottom of the learning curve again. But what a ride!

Here comes the 2nd installment of my Class of ’93 mixtape series!
It wasn’t enough to comb the back of the crate for the best breakbeat rave hysteria. I had to kick it up another notch and pull out all the hardcore, psychedelic techno I could find, stick it in the blender, and fuck the shit up.
Made with tracks exclusively from 1993 and back, this 80 minute long journey through acid will be a great introduction to the roots if you’re young, and a flashback-inducer if you’re not.

David Sylvian’s Secrets of the Beehive was easily one of my favorite albums as a teenager. Maria, a mournful wisp of a song, called out to be remixed, and I was just finding my feet as an audio editor. So why not?
